Healing properties in apple peelsSeptember 18, 2008 | Jen NathanMany of us have heard the saying “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” It turns out there's some truth to this saying, and one researcher at Appalachian State University believes apple peels hold the answer. Jen Nathan visited him at the school's Human Performance Lab in Boone. Appalachian State University plans to join the North Carolina Research Campus in Kannapolis. And one of ASU’s goals is to expand its Human Performance Lab and research work in the new location.
