Greensboro Aquatic Center will host U.S. Synchronized Swimming 2012 Olympic Team Trials

The new Greensboro Aquatic Center will play a part in the 2012 Summer Olympic Games. It will host the U.S. Synchronized Swimming 2012 Olympic Team Trials November 11-14. People will be see America's elite athletes compete for a spot on the 2012 U.S. Synchronized Swimming Olympic Team. Those who make the cut will head to London for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games. Last weekend, the center officially opened for business. It will also be home to two area swim teams and a diving team. According to manager Susan Braman, it'll host 33 meets from now into 2012 which will generate an estimated $44 million dollars for the city of Greensboro. Braman also says some area colleges will send their dive teams to use the center's facilities.
