Great American CleanupMay 5, 2010 | David FordMajor spring cleaning is coming to the Triad.
This Saturday morning the Great American Cleanup in Winston-Salem begins at 9:00. It'll take place at over twenty locations, and hundreds of volunteers are expected to gather and work together to beautify the city.
Keep Winston-Salem Beautiful Executive Director George Stilphen will be coordinating the city-wide effort. He spoke with WFDD's David Ford by phone from his City of Winston-Salem office.
