Forum: The Mission of Higher Education in the 21st CenturyJune 8, 2008 | Commencement season in the Triad is coming to an end. This weekend, high schools are biding farewell to their class of 2008. And the colleges and universities recognized their graduates last month. Recently, higher education was the topic of a special forum led by Leadership Winston-Salem's Alumni Council. They brought together Forsyth County's university and college administrators to discuss: The Mission of Higher Education in the 21st Century. This event was originally held and recorded at the Forsyth Country Club on February 19. WFDD'S General Manager Denise Franklin served as moderator. She was introduced by Winston-Salem Mayor Allen Joines. This forum was originally held and recorded at the Forsyth Country Club on February 19.
