Former Triad Resident Reacts to Osama bin Laden Death

May 5, 2011 | Kathryn Mobley

Survivors of the 911 attacks continue to struggle with the memories of that deadly day.  And many say the news of Osama bin Laden's death brings them some peace. Greg Trevor and his family lived in Graham, N.C. for several years before moving to New Jesery.

For 6 years, he worked for the Port Authority, which controlled the World Trade Center Complex. On September 11, 2001, he was in Tower 1 on the 68th floor. Suddenly, he along with his co-workers and thousands of others rushed down one of three emergency stairwells to safety.

Greg spoke with WFDD's Kathryn Mobley and shares his reactions to bin Laden's death, the man considered responsible for the terrorist act that almost killed him.
