Michelle Obama will speak at three college graduation ceremonies this spring, including two in key general election battleground states.
The White House announced on Wednesday the First Lady will give the spring commencement address at N.C. A&T State University, a historically black university.
A&T will hold its commencement ceremony May 12 at the Greensboro Coliseum.
The first lady will also address graduates at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg on May 11 and Oregon State University on June 17.
The Obama administration has made several stops at college campuses in recent months. Last October in North Carolina, President Barack Obama visited Guilford Technical Community College. In February, Vice President Joe Biden and his wife Jill toured the facilities and spoke to a crowd at Davidson County Community College.
Virginia and North Carolina are both politically important states that will be crucial to President Barack Obama's re-election prospects.
