Felony Fraud at PTI
July 26, 2011 | Jeff Tiberii
On Tuesday morning PTI Airport Police confirmed to WFDD News that a man used fake twenty-dollar bills to try and rent a car last Friday. Airport police called in the FBI, Secret Service and SBI (State Bureau of Investigation) as is customary in cases involving felonies occurring on federal property. The suspect, still being identified as "John Doe" by airport police, is behind bars at the Guilford County Jail on a $1,000,000 secure bond. Airport Police declined a recorded interview with WFDD News. Calls to the Secret Service and FBI were not immediately returned.
