Darryl Hunt Interview

October 4, 2007 | Jeff Tiberii

Last Monday James Johnson left prison after serving three years for a crime which eh says he didn't commit. Johnson's departure came in large part due to the help of Darryl Hunt, once wrongfully incarcerated for nearly two decades. The Darryl Hunt foundation helped to have Johnson's one million dollar bond lowered to a more reasonable $60,000, based on a lack of evidence. Tonight at the Emmanuel Baptist Church the Darryl Hunt Project - which works to assist, support and free those who've been wrongfully accused of crimes - is holding a community forum related to inequalities in the Justice system. WFDD's Jeff Tiberii spoke to Darryl Hunt about the forum and the challenges of the wrongfully accused.
