Celebrity Influence on First-Time Voters

One of the things pundits will be watching with the Iowa caucus is the effect of celebrity endorsements on the outcome. Probably never before has such a high profile celebrity like Oprah Winfrey been so actively involved in a campaign. Does it matter to voters? WFDD’s Cindy DiMattia talks with one Wake Forest professor who’s been studying whether celebrities have any influence over those heading to the polls for the first time:
