Caterpillar Will Bring Jobs To Winston-SalemJuly 30, 2010 | Kathryn MobleyCaterpillar, Inc. is bringing about five hundred new jobs to Winston-Salem and Forsyth County. This area beat out two other cities for the company's newest manufacturing and assembly plant. The company was also considering Spartenburg, South Carolina and Montgomery, Alabama as possible locations.
Friday afternoon, North Carolina Governor Beverly Perdue welcomed Caterpillar to Winston-Salem. WFDD's Kathryn Mobley has more.
