Leading up to the November 6th general elections, WFDD News will bring you interviews with a number of North Carolina candidates running for state and national offices.
On Tuesday, we looked at the Lieutenant Governor race between Republican Dan Forest and Democrat Linda Coleman.
The duties of this position include, presiding over the state Senate and sitting on the State Board of Education.
Coleman is a former teacher who quit her job as a state employee to run for Lt. Governor. She recently talked with WFDD’s Keri Brown from her campaign headquarters in Raleigh about improving the state’s education system, unemployment and one controversial issue she’s facing.
