A Swan Song and a New Beginning for Business Journal Executive Editor Justin Catanoso ( Encore)

This week's Business Report finds Business Journal Executive Editor Justin Catanoso on the cusp of a career change for the first time since graduating from college in 1982. He's not leaving journalism, but soon he will be leaving newspapers on a day-to-day basis. Justin was recently offered an opportunity to join the Wake Forest University faculty full time as the school's fourth Director of Journalism.

Moving forward, Justin says he plans to write as often as he can - but a lot less often than once a week - for the Business Journal, and he'll continue his weekly Business Report radio broadcasts here on 88.5 WFDD.

On Thursday, Justin reflected on his journalism career, and the dramatic changes to the Triad's economic landscape that he's witnessed first-hand over the past two decades. He spoke with WFDD's David Ford.
