A Conversation with Professor David CoatesOctober 6, 2009 | Jeff TiberiiIt's a contentious topic shaped largely by partisan lines. Immigration, and immigration reform, might be taking a back seat to health care, the economy and the war in Afghanistan; for now.
Wake Forest University Professor David Coates holds the World Chair in Anglo-American Studies. He's worked on more than two dozen books, writing and editing. His latest project, for which he served as an editor it titled Getting Immigration Right: What Every American Needs to Know. Coates sat down with WFDD's Jeff Tiberii to discuss reform, his personal connection to the issue, and the start of the book.
