This afternoon in the Triad, hundreds of mourners are expected to gather to pay their final respects to a man who helped to shape his hometown arguably more than any other individual.

A Celebration of Hanes' Life will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Winston-Salem.
