It features the Winston-Salem Symphony side-by-side with the WSS Youth Symphony, and the violinist winners of the 2012 Peter Perret Youth Talent Search. On the program will be music by Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Tchaikovsky, Dan Locklair and Ottorino Respighi. Conducting duties for the Concert for Community will be split between Winston-Salem Symphony Music Director Robert Moody and Associate Conductor Matthew Troy. They dropped by WFDD to talk about the concert with TAUC host David Ford.
