Triad Arts with David Ford Winston-Salem Symphony presents Choral ClassicsNovember 14, 2012Do you like choral music? Well, there’s so-so choral music, and then there’s truly awesome choral music. Today on Triad Arts, Winston-Salem Symphony Music Director Robert Moody is here with the good stuff.
On Sunday, November 18, at 3:00pm, and Tuesday night, November 20, at 7:30pm in the Stevens Center, he’ll lead the Winston-Salem Symphony Chorale, UNCSA Cantata Singers, and the WS symphony in a Choral Spectacular. Alexander Borodin’s Polovtsian Dances from Prince Igor, The Hour Has Come by Canadian composer Srul Irving Glick, and the piece that got the idea ball rolling for Bob, the Doctor Atomic Symphony by American composer John Adams.
