The Piedmont Wind Symphony has been dedicated to excellence in music performance for over two decades, offering outstanding performances of works from the standard band repertory since their first concert back in 1990. One of the many styles the wind symphony presents is jazz, with former guest artists including Al Jarreau joining the group in May of 2009, and this year, returning guest artist, legendary trumpeter Arturo Sandoval will perform with the wind symphony on Thursday, May 19th at 7:30PM at Brendle Recital Hall on the campus of Wake Forest University.
