Triad Arts Weekend!

The A.J. Fletcher Opera Institute’s production of Thomas Pasatieri’s Hotel Casablanca has Texan life imitating Italian opera and it’ll run May 11, 13 and 15th in the deMille Theatre at the University of NC School of the Arts. Director Dr. Steven LaCosse, set designer, and UNCSA graduating senior Stephen Edwards and costume designer, MFA student Roejandra Adams stopped by WFDD to talk about it.

The Winston-Salem Youth Chorus has been wowing audiences and changing lives since 1993 here in the Triad. You can experience the group’s high level of artistry at their 10th annual Mothers Day concert. The performance titled Music of the Mediterranean and More will be SATURDAY NIGHT THIS YEAR, May 7th at 7:00pm in St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Winston-Salem.

Salem Academy's Drama Llamas is bringing live theatre to local schools and daycares at no cost.
