Triad Arts with David Ford Triad Arts Weekend!April 15, 2011The story of Orpheus and Eurydice has been around since Virgil, and it’s coming to the Wake Forest University campus in a very modern way via playwright Sarah Ruhl and the WFU Theatre Department production of Eurydice. David Ford talks with WFU Department of Theatre and Dance Associate Professor Brook David, and student actors Danielle Thorsen and Wesley Longacre.
Martha Bassett has a brand new band, and their new recording called The Goodbye Party is all ready for release. The CD release party/concert is Friday, April 15 at 8:00pm in Hanesbrands Theatre.
Indie-Lit Greensboro 2011 will be held on Friday, April 29th from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM in the Elliott University Center on the UNC Greensboro Campus. Then on Saturday, April 30 from 8am to 6pm it’s The North Carolina Writers’ Network Spring Conference. UNCG Associate Director of the MFA writing program Terry Kennedy and NCWN Executive Director Ed Southern spoke with TAUC host David Ford via phone.
