Triad Arts with David Ford Triad Arts Weekend!March 18, 2011Appalachian State University Director of the Office of Arts and Cultural Programs Denise Ringler gives us an overview of App State's Performing Arts Series 2011, and a preview of the season's last performance. Then Arts at the Rives Theater (ART) Secreatary of ART Johnny Buck talks up the theater and gives us a preview of what's coming up at the Rives.
Assasins [FOR MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY] by John Weidman with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim is not your typical musical, and that suits the Winston-Salem Theatre Alliance just fine. The best revival Tony Award-winner comes to the Theatre Alliance stage Friday, March 18th, and it’ll run through April 3rd. WSTA actors Neil Shepherd, Jay Smith and Jaye Pierce dropped by WFDD to talk about this controversial musical with host David Ford.
