Triad Arts with David Ford Triad Arts Weekend!March 4, 2011This week on Triad Arts Weekend, the Triad Jewish Film Festival is well under way with six outstanding films from around the world, a new, user-friendly website with convenient on-line ticketing, and much more. Then it's time to get outside and commune with outdoor sculpture. Picture bird nests, tumbleweeds or wasps nests. Now picture them 20 feet tall and made out of nothing but saplings. Internationally renowned, Chapel Hill-based sculptor Patrick Dougherty shares the method and mindset behind his art. His monumental outdoor sculpture is on display at Guilford College.
