The Hispanic Arts Initiative in Winston-Salem is doing its part in making Latino arts and culture come alive. This year they’re bringing educational Latino dance and music programs to more than 5,000 area students. They’re also collaborating with some of Our State’s greatest arts institutions in all areas of the arts, including visual art.

Coming up Friday night, December 7, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, HAI presents the exhibit Punto de Vista—Latino Perspectives featuring works by more than a dozen North Carolina Latino artists. The opening reception in the Womble Carlyle Gallery of the Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts is free and open to the public.
