WFDD's former production manager, news director, and program director also plays many instruments, and he plays them very well. His banjo, fiddle and guitar playing will be on full display at the 2011 Appalachian State Old-Time Fiddlers' Convention along with his wife, banjo and banjo uke player Terri McMurray, banjo player Adam Hurt, and guitarist Beth Hartness.
