Triad Arts with David Ford Stained Glass Playhouse presents Annie Get Your GunJuly 16, 2012Annie Get Your Gun with music and lyrics by Irving Berlin, book by Herbert & Dorothy Fields and revised by Peter Stone comes to Stained Glass Playhouse. Annie Oakley is the best shot around, and she manages to support her little brother and sisters by selling the game she hunts. When she’s discovered by Col. Buffalo Bill, he persuades this rookie sharpshooter to join his Wild West Show. Annie falls head over heels for the dashing shooting ace headliner Frank Butler. But when Annie aces out Butler for the top spot on the bill, things get a bit testy. And then there’s the unbeatable music by Irving Berlin: “Anything You Can Do”, “There’s No Business Like Show Business”, and “You Can’t Get A Man With A Gun” just to name a few. Stained Glass actors Kelly Flick who plays Annie, and Brandon Lloyd Hicks who plays Frank have all guns blazing with David Ford.
