Triad Arts with David Ford SECCA presents Vibha Galhotra: MetropiaOctober 24, 2012The Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art presents Vibha Galhotra: Metropia October 26, 2012 – February 10, 2013. “Indian artist Vibha Galhotra utilizes both abstract forms and images of the urban metropolis to address the radically shifting topography of India under the impact of globalization and growth. She sees herself as being part of the restructuring of culture, society and geography – of New Delhi, and the world.” So wrote SECCA Curator of Contemporary Art Steven Matijcio. He recently spoke with Vibha on the phone for the first time from the WFDD recording studio.
