Today it’s a conversation with Grammy-Award-winning singer-songwriter Patterson Hood of the Drive-By Truckers. His new solo album Heat Lightning Rumblers in the Distance is due out September 11 on ATO Records. Patterson spoke with David by phone from his home-sweet-home in Athens, Georgia.
