Triad Arts with David Ford Old Salem Museum & Gardens and the Moravian Music Foundation present A Symposium Celebrating the Life and Music of Johannes HerbstApril 3, 2012Old Salem Museum & Gardens and the Moravian Music Foundation are celebrating the life of Moravian pastor, bishop, composer, musicians, scholar, and educator Johannes Herbst with a three day symposium April 19th through the 21st at Old Salem in Winston-Salem. There will be concerts, special tours, and enlightening lectures. One of those enlightened lecturers is Dr. Tim Sharp, executive director of the American Choral Directors Association. Last month he dropped by WFDD along with Old Salem organist and coordinator of music programming Scott Carpenter to share the magic of Herbst with TAUC host David Ford.
