Music for a Great Space presents the 2012 Henry Ingram Memorial Concert

Coming up on Friday night, April 13 at 7:30 in Dana Auditorium on the campus of Guilford College, Music for a Great Space presents a spectacular Henry Ingram Memorial Concert.

Due to illness, Anthony Dean Griffey will be unable to perform, instead, rising star baritone Sidney Outlaw, will present a recital with pianist Warren Jones. On the program will be music by Brahms, Mozart, Gershwin, Scott Joplin, Cole Porter and more.

Sidney Outlaw has been lauded by The San Francisco Chronicle as "...an opera powerhouse," and The New York Times as a "terrific singer”. The rising American star who hails from Brevard, North Carolina, recently made his debut with The English National Opera as Rambo in The Death of Klinghoffer. Warren Jones is one of the world’s leading collaborative pianists and he performs with many of today's best-known artists, including Stephanie Blythe, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, and Anthony Dean Griffey, among many others.

In this encore interview, TAUC host David Ford explores the life of collaborative piano playing with world renowned pianist Warren Jones.
