Triad Arts with David Ford Music for a Great Space presents great organist Tim OlsenOctober 15, 2012Award-winning organist Timothy Olsen has been called among "the first rank of the new generation of American organists”, and he’s performed solo recitals across the country. Tim’s the Kenan professor of organ at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, associate professor of organ at Salem College in Winston-Salem, and he’s coming to Music for a Great Space in Greensboro, Friday, October 19, at 7:30 PM, in Christ United Methodist Church. On the program music by Bach, Caesar Franck, Ned Rorem and more. Tim's the first-prize winner of the 2002 National Young Artists Competition in Organ Performance, and a Naxos recording artist. He spoke with TAUC host David Ford.
