Hiss Golden Messenger at Crossroads #005

July 20, 2012

Patterson Hood & the Downtown Rumblers will be headlining Crossroads at the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art in Winston-Salem on Friday night, July 20 at 8:00pm, and opening for the Rumblers will be Hiss Golden Messenger led by Mr. M.C. Taylor. M.C.’s one of the finest songwriters in America today. The band’s fourth release titled Poor Moon was given a nod by none other than Davie Bowie who calls it “mystical country, like an eerie yellowing photograph”. TAUC host David Ford samples from Poor Moon and talks about it with singer-songwriter M.C. Taylor.

Tonight, enjoy the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art's Crossroads Concert Series. At 8:00 p.m., Durham-based M.C. Taylor and Hiss Golden Messenger will perform followed by Grammy-Award winning Patterson Hood. He will perform with his band the Downtown Rumblers.
