Triad Arts with David Ford Greensboro Public Library presents A Fine RomanceMarch 19, 2012A Fine Romance: Jewish Songwriters, American Songs, 1910-1965 the traveling exhibit comes to the Triad courtesy of Greensboro Public Library and will remain here through the end of April with a film series, live theatre reviews, sing-a-longs and more at all Greensboro Library Branch Locations. Coming up in the Traveling Exhibit Film Festival on Tuesday, March 20 at 7:00pm in the Vance-Chavis Branch it’s the 1943 classic Cabin in the Sky starring Ethel Waters and Lena Horne featuring the music of the legendary Harold Arlen and Vernon Duke. On Saturday the 24th at 2:30pm in the Kathleen Clay Edwards Family Brach, it’ll be Fiddler on the Roof. GSO Public Library Assistant Director Steve Sumerford recently spoke with TAUC host David Ford about A Fine Romance from his office in Greensboro.
