Triad Arts with David Ford Friends of Music at St. Paul\'s presents Ensemble VermillionMarch 26, 2012After last month's hugely successful Triad concert by the award-winning Miami-based vocal ensemble Seraphic Fire, the Friends of Music at St. Pauls series featuring unique solo and ensemble performers continues on Friday night, April 13, at 7:30pm, with the Baroque chamber ensemble, Ensemble Vermillion. The group features Baroque violin, cello, harpsichord, guitar, theorbo--cousin of the lute--and recorder. Ensemble Vermillion was founded by cellist Barbara Blaker Krumdieck and her sister, recorder player Frances Blaker to explore lesser-known as well as familiar repertoire for chamber ensemble from the 17th and 18th centuries. Last week, Frances spoke with TAUC host David Ford by phone from her home near Berkley, California.
