Triad Arts with David Ford Eric Schwartz and Forecast Music present NosferatuFebruary 15, 2012Forecast Music is an adventurous new music group based in North Carolina. The non-profit is made up of some of the world’s finest composers and performers who call the Triad home. Forecast presents hour-long concerts of innovative new compositions in relaxed alternative performance spaces. Their first Triad performance at the Garage in Winston-Salem was a big hit with Classical Voice NC calling it “...the most successful formula for concerts of contemporary music.” Forecast is the brainchild of composer Eric Schwartz, and coming up on Saturday night, February 18 at 8pm in The Community Arts Café in Winston-Salem, you can hear his music composed for the classic 1920s silent film Nosferatu performed live by some of the region’s finest musicians. Eric’s music combines the sophisticated unpredictability of contemporary chamber music and just a pinch of electronica with the post-modern wackiness of experimental theatre to create a living, breathing commentary about the action on screen. The multimedia event is bound to give you an entirely new perspective on this symphony of horrors.
Eric's new CD OYOU is set for release on February 21, on cdbaby.
