Triad Arts with David Ford Eastern Music Festival 2012 with Gerard SchwarzJune 25, 2012With over 100 music-related events during the season and throughout the year, the Eastern Music Festival has something for everyone. EMF 2012 kicks off Monday, June 25 with the UNCG Chamber Series beginning at 8:00pm at the UNCG School of Music, Theatre, and Dance. It features Jeffrey Multer, violin performing music by Mozart, his Sonata for Violin and Piano in B flat Major, Bartok’s exciting Contrasts and Franz Schubert’s Piano Trio in B flat major. The 51st EMF season runs through July 28, and whether you love classical, jazz, or bluegrass, EMF is one festival you do NOT want to miss! Music Director Gerard Schwarz spoke with David by phone from his home in Seattle, Washington.
