Triad Arts with David Ford Children\'s Theatre Playhouse Presents Disney\'s The Little Mermaid, Jr.July 18, 2012The Children’s Theatre of Winston-Salem Summer Playhouse will present Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Jr. on Friday, July 20, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, July 21, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Arts Council Theatre, 610 Coliseum Drive in Winston-Salem. The following weekend the Summer Camp Program presents Disney’s 101 Dalmatians Kids for child actors ages five through twelve.
The Children’s Theatre of Winston-Salem summer camps have grown ten-fold over the past few years, and CTWS General Manager Karen McHugh and Artistic/Education director Bobby Bodford share the secrets to their success with David Ford. They're joined in the studio by Children’s Theatre actors Bea Howell who plays Ariel the mermaid and her brother Steele who plays Flounder.
