Real People, Real Stories The Love of CompassionFebruary 7, 2011When most of us think about love stories, we think about a man and a woman, intoxicating passion, long gazes and gentle kisses. But sometimes a love story takes on a different appearance. Less tangible but still very real.
In this week's WFDD's Real People, Real Stories, guest commentator Beverly Johnson reflects on her chance encounter with a stranger in Home Depot. And through his simple request for help, she was moved by a much deeper love of compassion.
Johnson is a 20-year resident of Winston-Salem, is the head of the Blessings Project Foundation and is writing a poetry book.
