Real People, Real Stories The Day I Grew UpMay 14, 2012This month, WFDD’s Real People Real Stories is featuring the work of four Triad high school students. They participated in WFDD’s Radio 101 educational program. Radio 101 inspires confidence, creativity, critical thinking and community engagement while teaching radio journalism skills.
Darius Underwood is a senior at Carver High School in Winston-Salem. In his Radio 101 story, Darius describes how one event motivated him to leave behind child-like thinking.
Kathryn Mobley and Lopa Shah are Radio 101’s instructors. Greg Keener is coordinator of WFDD’s educational initiatives.
