Real People, Real Stories Proud to be a Dudley PantherMay 28, 2012This month, WFDD’s Real People Real Stories is featuring the work of four Triad high school students. They participated in WFDD’s Radio 101 educational program. Radio 101 inspires confidence, creativity, critical thinking and community engagement while teaching radio journalism skills.
On June 10th, more than 350 seniors will graduate from James Benson Dudley High School in Greensboro - Something freshman Tiffany McMillan looks forward to. In her Radio 101 story, Tiffany explains why she’s fought hard to be a Dudley Panther.
This summer, Tiffany will attend a math and science enrichment program at North Carolina A&T State University. She will also volunteer with 5-7 year-olds, teaching them safety skills. Tiffany produced her story with the assistance of WFDD senior producer Kathryn Mobley.
Kathryn Mobley and Lopa Shah are Radio 101’s instructors. Greg Keener is coordinator of WFDD’s educational initiatives.
