Sarah Hamlin was born and raised in Kernersville. In the 1930’s, she was among the first students to attend Carver High School. In this segment of StoryLine, 90-year-old Hamlin talks with retired Carver High School principal Nathaniel Barber. She describes the school’s origins and what it meant to area African Americans.
