Motherhood Is Not Based On DNA

November 28, 2010

StoryLine gives voice to everyday people throughout our community as they share the experiences that shape their lives. In 2003, Bernie Buckles and Marsha met on a national chat line. Two years later, they got married. Then in 2009, the Buckles moved to Winston-Salem to work for Industries for the Blind. In this segment of StoryLine, share their bittersweet experience living as a blind couple and describe the empowering effect of working for IFB. StoryLine is a project of the ECHO network and is made possible by the generosity of Salemtowne, a continuing care retirement community, where every life shines and stories are celebrated.
