Unlike most children, Gaff Pearce grew up not knowing his father. While searching for a copy of his birth certificate, Pearce not only learned his father’s identity, but he also spoke with him. It was the first time they’d spoken. He describes to his friend and colleague, Julie Perry, his excitement of finally meeting his 92-year-old father.
