Forgiving Mama

May 30, 2010

In 2001--Simona emigrated from Mexico. Now she lives in Winston-Salem, is building a new life and attends El Buen Pastor Church. In her home country, she says her mother treated her cruelly and she sees the United States as a safe haven. Now Simona wants Immigration Reform that will allow people like her to stay in the US, where she believes she’ll prosper. Come help us celebrate our one year birthday on June fourth at Salem Fine Arts Center. Find out more at storylineproject.org. StoryLine is made possible by the generosity of Salemtowne, a continuing care retirement community, where every life shines and stories are celebrated. StoryLine – Make the connection!"
