Books To Live For

August 22, 2010

StoryLine gives voice to everyday people throughout our community as they share the experiences that shape their lives. Catherine Beeckman is from Belgium and lived in 17 countries before she moved to Winston-Salem in 2007. She speaks Dutch, French, English, Spanish, German, Japanese and Arabic. In this segment, she explains to Marisa Estelrich how her love of languages led her to a greater social cause. StoryLine is a project of the ECHO network and is made possible by the generosity of Salemtowne, a continuing care retirement community, where every life shines and stories are celebrated.
